Know what it is HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language)

HTML can be called the language used for displaying and managing hypertext. Hypertext in HTML means that we can go to a place, such as a website or other home pages, by selecting a link which is usually underlined or represented by an image. In addition to links to other websites or home pages, hypertext also allows us to go to one part in one's own text.

HTML consists of a number of orders where we can set the title, lines, tables, pictures and other so-called tags. Each tag can still be completed again by a number of attributes.
HTML HISTORY
HTML concept was first invented by IBM in 1980 at the time sparked the idea to put those elements that mark the sections of a document such as title, address and the contents of the document. Then, in the end those elements into a program to perform automatic formatting of documents.
Programming language to perform these tasks is called markup language, or more complete courses such as IBM called Generalized Markup Language (GML).
This concept was approved in 1986 by ISO (International Standards Organization) as a standard for creating documents with the release of ISO 8879. ISO naming this GML into SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language).

SGML to HTML
HTML - the markup language also uses technology - is one of the first part of this SGML. A researcher named Tim Berners-Lee of CERN - who now serves as director of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) put forward an idea about making a dandokumen script programming language that can be accessed by all computers regardless of the type of platform whether Windows, Unix, Linux and so forth. Since then the HTML is more popular than SGML.

HTML DEVELOPMENT
Before an HTML ratified as a standard HTML document, it must be approved by the W3C to be evaluated closely.
Every place the development of a version of HTML, the browser also inevitably have to improve themselves in order to support the HTML codes are new. Because if not, the browser can not display the HTML.

HTML version 1.0
Capabilities of version 1.0 include headings, paragraphs, hypertext, lists, as well as bold and italics in the text. This version also supports the laying of the image on the document without putting allow surrounding text (wrapping).

HTML version 2.0
In this version, the addition of HTML quality lies in its ability to display a form on the document. With the existence of this form, then we can include name, address, and the suggestions / criticisms. HTML version 2.0 is a pioneer of the interactive homepage.

HTML version 3.0
HTML version 3.0 adds several new features such as tables. This version also called an HTML + does not last long and soon replaced the HTML version 3.2

HTML version 4.0
HTML version of HTML 4 is the final version when the source is taken. This HTML contains a lot of changes and revisions of its predecessor. This change occurs in almost all HTML commands such as tables, images, links, text, meta, imagemaps, forms, and others.
