Von Neumann immortalized his name as a von Neumann architecture, computer architecture that is widely used in most non-parallel computer system, because it was he who first published the concept. Although this concept later developed by J. Presper Eckert and John William Mauchly in the development of ENIAC computer, von Neumann's name is more commonly known as the inventor of the computer architecture.
