MS-DOS was first released in 1981, and over time, Microsoft also launched a new version of MS-DOS. Not less than eight times until Microsoft released new versions of MS-DOS from 1981 until Microsoft stop supporting MS-DOS in 2000. MS-DOS is one key to Microsoft's success in producing the software, from a small company making the programming language as established up to become a software company that seemed to dominate the world.
