Mask ROM

Data in ROM is inserted directly through a mask during chip assembly. This makes it very economical, especially if we produce in large quantities. But it also becomes very expensive because it is not flexible. A change of even just one bit requires a new mask which of course is not cheap. Because there was not flexible so rarely use it anymore.

Other applications that are similar to CD-ROM ROM is familiar with our prerecorded, one music CD. Contrary to the opinion of many people that the CD-ROM is written with a laser, the reality of data on CD-ROM more precisely printed on plastic discs.
