URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator (translated: Uniform Resource Pelokasi), is a series of characters according to a certain standard formats, used to indicate the address of a source such as documents and images on the Internet. [1]

URL is an innovation base for the development of Internet history. [1] URL was first coined by Tim Berners-Lee in 1991 so that writers can refer to the documents link to Jagat Jembar Networks or the World Wide Web. [1] Since 1994, URL concept has developed into the term Uniform Resource Identifier (URI), a more general nature. Nevertheless, the term URL is still used widely.
