Apache HTTP Server or Web Server

Apache HTTP Server or Web Server / WWW is the Apache web server that can run on many operating systems (Unix, BSD, Linux, Microsoft Windows and Novell Netware and other platforms) that allows you to serve and enable the web site. A protocol used to serve the facility of web / www uses HTTP.

Apache has advanced features such as error messages that can be configured, the database-based authentication and others. Apache is also supported by some graphical user interface (GUI) that allows easy handling of the server.

Apache is an open source software developed by an open community of developers under the auspices of the Apache Software Foundation.
