This generation is also called 3G that enables network operators to give their users a wider range, including the internet as well as high tech video calls. In there are three standards for 3G telecommunications world is Enhance Datarates for GSM Evolution (EDGE), Wideband-CDMA, and CDMA 2000. The downside of this is the next generation 3G relater higher costs, and lack of network coverage because of this technology is still new.
