Token Bus

Token Bus is a computer network that uses a virtual token ring in a koaxial cable. A token that is sent in a relay and turns in the network where computers are used to mark a right to transmit data packets. Each computer ([[node]]) must know the address of the next node that will have a turn in the delivery of data. If the node has no data to be sent, then the token will be sent directly to the next node.

Type of token bus protocol with the IEEE 802.4 standard is widely used in industrial applications such as automobile manufacturers GM (General Motors) through a system of Manufacturing Automation Protocol (MAP) it. Token bus protocol system which can be used in unmodified FMS network
